CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Information about the submission process for DICHOTOMY29: ECHO
The School Of Architecture and Community Development (SACD)at University Of Detroit Mercy is conducting a Call for Abstracts for the 29th edition of Dichotomy: ECHO.
Theme of the issue:
Echo begins from within. The hidden whispers reverberate and shape the inner voice. Echo ventures outward, discovering the hidden and unknown. Echo shares new perspectives, reflections, and messages in a continual reshaping of the past that is carried into the future. Echo’s return is an abstraction standing in place of the original call, a memory transformed, interpreted, and reimagined. Dichotomy 29 explores the intersection and overlapping of multiple perspectives, and how our actions echo the voices of others. It invites designers, creative thinkers and activists to question past visions of the present, and to project and critique imagined futures. The call of Echo is for anyone willing to listen and open to receive.
